Marbled
The marbling technique has its origins in Asia, specifically in Japan and Turkey, dating back to the 12th century. In Japan, the technique is known as "suminagashi," which means "floating ink," and involves creating patterns on the surface of water using ink and then transferring those patterns to paper. In this collection, Cris Azevedo explores the technique in blue tones and in different pieces.
